beach
this sunday we went to the beach. ph got the idea to go at 330pm .. so we rented a zipcar for 430, and picked up some subway sandwiches on the way & were having dinner on good harbor beach by 530 or 6pm. it was so beautiful and the weather was perfect, the water was temperate and lucas really had fun playing in the sand.. the real kicker was that the parking was free (not $20) for arriving so late in the day!.. definitely we will go again.

Wow, sounds like a wonderful way to spend the evening :-) Oh, to be near a beach rather than river-banks...
PS, I can't believe how much Ruby's grown since I've seen her! Your kids are really starting to look like siblings!

it's a wonderful life! is the water cold there? bet it's lovely!
that's a heck of a lot better than the 105 bucks we collectively shelled out to go to the beach during our visit. not to mention the 17 dollar sandwiches.
but it was a good time and a heck of a good lobster roll. and what about the moqueca!
we went to the beach the other day and will probably go later today. it's pretty cool to have beaches right in the city. hehe
well we still paid for 4 hours on a zip car, but ya, the subway sandwiches & free parking sure did lighten the tab!
of course, we didnt have yall there to share the experience with us - which was *priceless*
*priceless* having you here, i mean - not the other way around - i realized that came out wrong. i have a size 9 mouth.
